History

Formed in 2008 by graphic designer Karl Wischnowsky, Design-o-matic is a relaxed multi-disciplinary, boutique design studio based in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

Our collective experience includes creative thinking and design for branding, packaging, print, publishing, point-of-sale, signage, products and web. This range of experience allows us to create effective and pertinent solutions for our clients.

Philosophy

When you work with Design-o-matic you will be dealing directly with Karl throughout the entirety of the project. No chinese whispers, fluffy account managers, or lost in translation excuses – just directly with the designer himself.  This agility means that we can offer personalized service and exceptional results at a very efficient rate. We deliver the results of a larger design agency without the costly overheads or associated ‘fluff’.
